Iris Garden
This was my first paper piecing project. I loved the quilt so I ignored the paper piecing level of Intermediate and above! I guess nobody told me to start off with something small and easy. The quilt was designed by Eileen Bahring Sullivan. I became hooked on paper foundation piecing. Finished quit size is 23” by 30”.

Peace and Love
I made this wall hanging for my daughter Marcie in 1995. I was inspired by the Peace and Love Quilt in Carol Doak's book Easy Paper-Pieced Keepsake Quilts. I added the appliqued Peace sign in the center. The border fabric is called JJ's First grade Class. Finished quilt size is 36” by 45”.

Arizona Vermont Star
I took a class with Carol Doak at Quilting in the Desert, January 2006. The quilt is 4 Vermont Star blocks. The blocks are in the book 50 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars. I used the Arizona Star block as my label. Carol graciously signed the upper right corner square my block. I quilted this one myself on my Bernina 630 using the BSR. Finished quit size is 29” by 29”.
